- AssigningYour Assignor can be your Ally. But it is a thankless job and a continuous balancing act to keep the umpires happy. Do you have ideas/suggestions/stories to share?

- Case Book Scenarios – AdvancedShare with us those stories which you believe that the Case Book or the rules got it wrong. Have an open discussion on the intent of the rule vs the hard application of how it is worded. Some times the "right" answer isn't necessarily the "best" answer...

- Mechanics/SignalsWe all know that the best defense on the field is "looking the part". Some mechanics are required, and some are just "helpful" to your partner. Some are old habits/signals we can't get away from. What we do know is good signals should be used, and the best mechanics/signals should be saved for when they are really needed! Don't waste your good ones. Share your thoughts on this topic..

- Systems – Two/Three/Multi Umpire SystemsAs the level of ball improves, so does the number of umpires on the field. This is due to the higher pace of the game and the increased importance placed on the correctness of the calls. So with all these umpires, who is responsible for what? What if you see something different than your partners? Or what if two umpires make different calls at the same time for the same play!! This is why communication is key on the field for the "third team".

- The Fisherman’s (Umpires) StoryWe've all heard that the fish was "This Big" and the long story which went with it. Umpires also have good stories which we tend to share (sometimes over and over). Let's hear your best ones!!
