      Now that the first set of assignments have been published, I am sure people will have questions.

      Please post your questions here in the discussion forumn instead of e-mailing the Assignor. This allows everyone to learn from the answers.

        Will the Midget (U19) Category be playing under the Division 1 or Division 2 rules this season?

        I believe that there is no difference between the division rules in Round 1 play, but please correct me if I am wrong.

          Thanks for bringing this up Mark. There is no difference during Round 1, as you noted. Once we see how well the play is we will decide at the end of Round 1 what rules will be played for Round 2.

          Likely for U16 there will be Div 1 rules for Div 1 (unlike last year), because we have brought in some of the Elite teams into CMSA this year.

            Did any of the CMSA rules change? Things like time limits and other rules for round 1 vs round 2. Or is it alright if I just check these in my CMSA 2014 handbooks?

              I don’t believe that anything changed, but I am not sure. The handbook is available electronically, and Jim Portman will have extra hard copies when you see him next..
